This project was done within a week at Willem de Kooning Academy, The Netherlands.
This was a quick 2-day project done at Willem de Kooning Academy, the Netherlands about recycling or re-purposing waste. The ‘take, make and dispose’ model of the past 150 years will soon be out of fashion. Waste will not exist anymore
Parle Kismi is one of the oldest candies produced in India. They have a special place in everyone's memory lane. I carried a few during my Exchange Programme in the Netherlands.
After eating the toffees I collected the wrappers and then heat pressed them along with polyester due to which the wrappers fused with the fabric. I then used this fabric like material to create various sizes of purses.
